Sr LearnUpon LMS Administrator/Analyst

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Sr LearnUpon LMS Administrator/Analyst for a contract position in Reston (Remote), VA. The opportunity will be four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: Team seeks a SME in the implementation (including Business Analysis duties) and administration of LearnUpon. The person needs the "advanced " administration knowledge (not an engineer) along with business analyst capabilities in a high tech/high volume enterprise team. Will be lead from a SME perspective, documentation and demos, etc. The Sr. LearnUpon LMS Administrator/Analyst will be responsible for performing business analysis activities and configuration of LMS technology, LearnUpon for the implementation of the platform at our company. Having a solid background in LearnUpon LMS software implementations, a key competency of the role will be serving as the resident SME in supporting the configuration, administration, and best practice business processes related to the tool. The consultant will work with the technical and program teams to build an understanding of the platform and ensure the LMS is implemented to meet our needs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements as it relates to the new platform. The individual will then call upon his/her technical and functional knowledge of system implementation to provide input on application design, configuration/setup, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Actively participate in the requirements gathering of LearnUpon to meet client's LMS needs
  • Document end user processes, user stories and configuration of the LMS platform.
  • Coordinate across resources across functional, technical, and vendor teams to ensure the platform is fully functional for each of the LMS use cases.
  • Configure LearnUpon capabilities so that they are tailored to meet the external and internal user needs.
  • Participate in implementation of the new system including administration, testing, end user training, and go-live support.
  • Create and deliver project level documentation (e.g., RAID logs, project schedules, etc.
  • Familiarize the team with the terms capability options and propose optional solutions to meet client's requirements.
  • Schedule and lead implementation meetings and presentations
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of vendor services.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise with implementing LearnUpon software application in a complex and with 100K+ training delivery usage.
  • Strong LMS knowledge, 7-10 years.
  • Must have demonstrated both business analysis and LearnUpon configuration experience in a complex environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to keep all parties on track with and accountable to timeline to complete system implementation.
  • Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Agile / Scrum experience a plus
