This role involves collaborating with global indirect leaders and leveraging third-party resources to support technology-enabled services.The Category Manager will work as an individual contributor within the Global Procurement Organization, partnering with business unit leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key.ResponsibilitiesCategory and Supplier ManagementDefine category and demand profilesAssess the supply marketDevelop and execute category strategies and plansManage supplier relationships and performanceStakeholder and Requirements ManagementCoordinate between functional teams for category activitiesBuild relationships with stakeholders to incorporate requirementsPrepare project plans and communicate timelinesMaintain strong relationships and demonstrate valueCore ResponsibilitiesFoster professional growth and team developmentTranslate business plans into strategic and tactical actionsQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degreeExperienceAt least 5 years in procurement management roles or consulting experience in supply chain or cost savings initiativesCertificationsProfessional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., PMP, or evidence of ongoing professional developmentTargeted CompetenciesProven cost savings in IT, Marketing, and Research categoriesStrong relationship-building, analytical, and negotiation skillsAdditional DetailsSalary: $115,000 - $150,000 annually.
