US Staffing Specialist | I help build Software and Data teams for the FinTech Sector We are currently seeking an experienced Data Product Owner to join a FinTech scale-up client of ours on a permanent basis. This is with a cutting‑edge Series B scale‑up whose platform is used by legacy financial institutions to provide modern customer experiences across Payments, Credit Unions, and FinTechs. The role requires candidates to be based within a commutable distance to Seattle, as the client has a hybrid office policy. Key Responsibilities Own and drive expansion of our Data Manager product, strategy, GTM and roadmap. Work closely with the engineering teams across our infra, security and UX teams to build world‑class data experiences for our financial customers. Understand our competition, the data market and predict trends and directions to inform your planning and future work. Work closely with our customers to ensure their success with our products. Maintain the product backlog and ensure timely prioritization, features and stories are adequately detailed for effective work allocation to engineers. Own the business model, pricing and packaging, feature SKUing etc. Report to senior leadership on progress, plans and blockers. Desired Requirements Strong background in Data Product ownership or management—experience with Data Platform product ownership is a strong plus. Experience working in a start‑up—important for this role; proven experience within a more agile environment where you wear different hats. Expertise within data engineering—either as a hands‑on engineer or working with data engineering teams. Experience working within financial services or FinTech would be a plus. Experience with modern lakehouse technologies like Snowflake or Databricks is important.
