A day in the life Develop and manage financial plans that balance the ambition and vision of our merchants with the deliverable objectives of finance and the strategic initiatives of the company Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, such as category planners, replenishment, price, and allocation to understand and align on business objectives, opportunities, and risks Analyze historical and current data, trends, and merchant feedback, to produce intelligent insights, actionable recommendations, and flexible business solutions Communicate and educate various stakeholders on the financial plans, assumptions, and results using clear and compelling storytelling and data visualization Act as a change leader to support company initiatives and ensure adoption by merchandising team Influence and empower teams to take ownership of their business and deliver key performance indicators, such as sales, margin, inventory, and turnaround You own this if you have A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience At least 2 years of experience in merchandise planning, financial planning and analysis, or a similar role in a retail environment Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical and presentation tools Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills A customer‑centric mindset and a passion for fashion and retail We’ve got you covered Benefits Medical/Vision, Dental, Retirement and Paid Time Away Life Insurance and Disability Merchandise Discount and EAP Resources A few more important points: The job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job.
