Seeking Gastroenterology-trained Hepatologist: Rutgers Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New JerseyThe Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) at Rutgers Health is seeking highly qualified gastroenterology-trained hepatologist for an open-rank faculty position within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at RWJMS and the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System.The practice encompasses work at outpatient facilities and hospitals in the health system, primarily at our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Medical Pavilion outpatient clinic and at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) at the Rutgers New Brunswick campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The presence of gastroenterology fellows, residents and students provides extensive teaching and research opportunities. Responsibilities include building a robust outpatient clinical practice in Hepatology, attending on the inpatient Hepatology Service at RWJUH, outpatient and inpatient endoscopy (at RWJUH or nearby ambulatory surgery centers), and education (UME and GME).Those interested will be afforded outstanding opportunities to engage in clinical, translational or basic science medical research.
