What we are looking for:
Current licensure in the State of Ohio as RCIS; RT(R, CV); preferably with three years of catheterization experience.
Must have and maintain current ACLS certification and BLS certification.
Hours and compensation:
Full-time day shift from 7:30am-4:00pm.
Rotating on-call shifts for evenings/weekends with a 30-minute response time. Call rooms available if needed.
Hourly range of $26.74-$36.33 depending on experience.
Additional on-call pay of $4/hour. Minimum pay of 1 hour for each called-in case at 1.5x hourly rate.

Comprehensive benefit package and a retention bonus of $10,000, paid in three installments at 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year. Based on a two-year agreement.

What you will be doing:
Provide professional and highly technical cardiovascular care to all cardiovascular patients, assisting physicians during procedures.
Act as a liaison for patients, families, and physicians, ensuring smooth operation of technical equipment.
Set up cardiac cath lab procedure rooms with instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Demonstrate knowledge of pressure monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, sterile technique, and radiation safety practices.
Perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring duties during all Cath Lab procedures.
Inspect and prepare the operative area as required.
Record relevant procedural information, document medication administration, and inform appropriate personnel of changes during procedures.
Respond to emergencies, provide post-catheterization information to patients and their families, and assist cardiologists with equipment and needs during procedures.
Assist in room clean-up and preparation for subsequent cases.
Perform digital imaging techniques and maintain digitized data storage.
Collect and enter accurate information required for ACC Data Submission.
Maintain knowledge of supplies usage for proper billing and inventory control.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve healthcare goals.
Demonstrate understanding of cardiac pharmacology and ability to trouble-shoot Cath Lab equipment.
Remove arterial and venous sheaths and ensure proper documentation. Stay updated on closure devices and assist with their deployment and post-care.
