About the Position
As a Licensed Registered Nurse in our Med-Surg 2W department at Providence Medford Medical Center, you will provide exceptional patient care to our patients on the Telemetry Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and monitoring patients' vital signs. You will also work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital sign checks, and monitoring patients' condition
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
