Job Description Join our dedicated team at a renowned healthcare facility where you'll provide essential OB/GYN clinical services and hospital call coverage. This locum tenens opportunity calls for a skilled physician ready to commit to a 3 to 6-month assignment starting January, with the possibility of extension. The role includes comprehensive OB/GYN care during weekdays and hospital call duties for approximately 7-10 days per month. Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Outpatient Clinic / Hospital Start Date: January Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Hospital call coverage for 7-10 days per month Patient Population: Adult Location: San Antonio, TX Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including low and high-risk pregnancy management, and routine and complicated deliveries. Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures. Provide office and minor gynecology services such as IUD insertions, cryosurgery, and colposcopy. Engage in surgical gynecology, including diagnostic laparoscopies and operative procedures as required. Qualifications Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active ACLS and BLS certifications Clean malpractice record required Previous experience with Level III trauma facilities preferred Providers with active privileges preferred Working Hours Regular hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call coverage: Approximately 7-10 days per month Skills Proficiency in managing low and high-risk pregnancies Expertise in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds Competency in routine and complicated deliveries Capability to perform gynecological surgeries and procedures This opportunity is ideal for physicians looking to make a significant impact in women's healthcare, while enjoying a flexible and supportive working environment.
