You’ll work with a high‑performing nearshore development team focused on delivering scalable, secure, and reliable backend applications for mission‑critical domains. Primary Responsibilities Design and develop backend services and enterprise‑grade software solutions Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mobile, QA, DevOps, and product management Work on SDKs that integrate into Android and iOS apps, as well as related backend microservices Optimize relational databases and write performant SQL queries Participate in the full development lifecycle, including TDD, CI/CD, and code reviews Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and maintainability Maintain documentation and adhere to version control best practices Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and stability Some Must‑Haves 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React Experience developing for Android (preferably also iOS) Familiarity with SDK development or contributing to mobile apps via embedded SDKs Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools Solid grasp of Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and modern testing practices Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote‑first team Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal) Where We’re Looking For It Latin America – Open to 100% Fully Remote Other Information: The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security‑conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Position available immediately.
