Position Summary
Provides clinical support topatients in the Physician clinic under the supervision of the provider.Provides continuity andcoordination of care in the outpatient setting including adolescents as well as adults.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Two (2) years clinical office experience. Medical terminology, computer knowledgerequired.
- Certification/Licensure:Possessa current MA certification.
For New hires:Certification must be obtained within90 daysof employment. If currently certified,mustmaintaincurrentcertification.CPR certificationrequired.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standards ofMemorialMedicalCenter.
MedicalAssistant willbe requiredto crosstrainto work as a Front Office Representative.Front Office Representative duties include the efficient, productive, and professional operation of the front office of the Clinic, which includes telephone and patient reception, scheduling patients, collecting patient demographic and insurance information, and collecting/documenting patient payments.
