- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's individual needs and goals
- Assess and monitor children's progress and communicate with families about their development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain required documentation
Skills:
- Early intervention: Ability to identify and address developmental delays or challenges in young children
- Literacy education: Knowledge of early literacy skills and strategies to promote language development
- Daycare: Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting, understanding of licensing requirements
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Special education: Understanding of special education principles and strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
- Child welfare: Knowledge of child development theories and practices to ensure the well-being of each child
- Education: Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities that align with educational standards

- Early childhood education: Familiarity with best practices in early childhood education, including play-based learning approaches
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with young students in a teaching or caregiving role
