OverviewEmergency Veterinarian - Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program – Queen Creek, AZARISE is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at ARISE.Ethos ER Immerse Training ProgramThe ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.Program Duration/Commitment9-12 month training program, based upon date of clinical start and competency.2-year commitment as an ER clinician at an Ethos hospital following training. Additional clinical commitment will be required as well.Location21419 S Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142Program Highlights5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each week, usually consecutive.Forty (40) hours of surgery rotation with boarded surgeons over the course of 6-12 months.One week rotation with internal medicine.Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts.No on-call.Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds.Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors.Requirements to applyMust submit resumeMust submit letter of intentHospital leadership will review submissions, if asked to interview please have three (3) letters of recommendation ready as well as school transcripts.Want to know more?
