Job Description Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr Lead the development and implementation of new toothpaste formulas. Act as the R&D point of contact for commercial teams and support all formulation, scale-up, documentation, and technology transfer activities. Manage stability studies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful commercialization under required guidelines. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of new toothpaste formulas. Serve as the R&D point of contact for commercial teams. Lead experimental designs to identify launch formulations and production processes. Prepare lab and pilot batches for stability testing and customer sampling. Support pilot plant batches by preparing batch sheets, requesting raw materials, pre‑weighing materials, and executing batches. Support plant trial batches as needed. Manage stability studies across lab, pilot, and plant scales. Collaborate with analytical, flavor, microbiology, and other support groups. Create and maintain required R&D documentation for high‑quality commercialization. Maintain project timelines, formula databases, tech transfer checklists, and related documents. Manage independent projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Maintain documentation under GMP/GLP per FDA/ICH guidelines. Validate new raw material suppliers and packaging as required. Maintain a clean and organized working environment. Manage multiple tasks with changing priorities. Make recommendations and elevate issues related to formula development. Track supplier and competitor developments. Follow standard operating procedures, including those for product development, regulatory, and safety. Deliver presentations of technical data and project updates. Requirement/Must Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related fields. 4+ years of experience developing or implementing consumer products. Experience scaling formulations from lab to pilot or manufacturing scale. Technical understanding of related chemistry and science. Strong knowledge of ingredient chemistry and interactions. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self‑motivated and able to work within a team environment. Knowledge of cGMP, GMP, and GLP. Excellent computer skills. Recent college graduate within the past few years. Should Have Knowledge of equipment and procedures for oral care formulations. Experience running stability studies for OTC or drug products. Experience producing formulations at manufacturing scale. Experience with claim substantiation. Strong project planning and management experience. Knowledge of regulatory environments in North America and globally. Knowledge of ICH and FDA guidelines for stability and testing. Degree in Chemistry preferred. Skills Previous laboratory experience preferred. Hands‑on experience with laboratory instruments. Ability to learn new procedures quickly. Ability to follow SOPs and generate accurate data. Ability to document data consistently and accurately. Ability to perform routine tasks daily. Qualification And Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related fields. #J-18808-Ljbffr
