Responsibilities:

  1. Acquire and Maintain Customers
  2. Compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes
  3. Implement sales and marketing programs
  4. Decipher, prepare and review financial statements and store reports
  5. Ensure adequate availability of merchandise at all times
  6. Fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support
  7. Follow monthly marketing plans
  8. Maintain company vehicles within safe operating standards
  9. Managing inventory and cash assets
  10. Meeting company standards for quality, customer service and safety
  11. Meet and exceed target sales and revenue goals
  12. Implementing marketing and growth plans
  13. Prepare daily work schedules, assign tasks, evaluate employee performance; discipline, enforce company policy and terminate when appropriate
  14. Provide a safe, clean environment for customers and associates
  15. Recruit, hire, and train to ensure efficient operations
  16. Set goals and conduct weekly staff meetings
  17. Store Management

Requirements:

  1. Any combination of education and experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge are acceptable. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  2. Associate or Bachelor's degree with course work in business, accounting, marketing or management.
  3. Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management or merchandising.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Routine lifting, loading, and moving merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
  2. Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
  3. Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
  4. Prolonged periods of driving and standing
  5. Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
