Audiologist – Orchard Park NY (MRG Exams) Join us The role is for a Licensed Audiologist to assess United States Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. The Veteran files the claim beforehand; you review the medical records through a computer portal, conduct a Maryland CNC test and a pure‑tone audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ). You will NOT prescribe any treatments or devices. Schedule & Workload Part‑time: Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.1–1 ½ hours per patient. Reviewing and assessing an average of 3–6 Veterans per day. No evenings, no on‑call, no weekends, no hearing‑aid sales. Responsibilities Review pre‑submitted medical records in the VA portal. Conduct audiometric evaluations (Maryland CNC test, pure‑tone test). Complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire in the portal. Provide unbiased medical evidence for VA benefit decisions. Maintain compliance with VA protocols and ethical standards. Qualifications Au.D. from an ASHA‑accredited program. Current state license as an Audiologist. Experience working with veterans (preferred). Strong communication and documentation skills. Benefits Guaranteed day rate: $450‑$500 (commensurate with experience).
