Overview Are you an insurance defense litigator ready for something different? Latitude is partnering with a Nashville-area law firm to bring a skilled insurance defense attorney on a short-term engagement basis, with the possibility to extend beyond the end of the year. As a Latitude employee you’ll be eligible for benefits and the flexibility of a remote schedule, while working with a collaborative legal team. Basic Requirements 3+ years experience litigating insurance defense matters Prior experience drafting and responding to written discovery Strong legal research and writing skills Skilled at drafting motions and other pleadings with minimal supervision J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Tennessee Outstanding professional references Position Details Type: Contract / Temporary Schedule: up to Full-time (30–40 hours/week) Location: Remote Compensation & Benefits Pay: $150,000‑$170,000 annualized on a full‑time basis. Contract engagements are based on multiple factors. Benefits include full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for employees working 20+ hours per week, 401(k) plan, CLE and professional expense stipend, and complementary professional liability coverage for contract attorneys.
