p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our client s Emergency Room (ER) team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality and efficient emergency care, assessing and treating patients with a diverse range of medical conditions and emergencies.- Conduct rapid and thorough assessments of patients presenting to the Emergency Room.
- Triage patients based on the severity of their conditions and prioritize care accordingly.
- Provide prompt and effective care to patients with acute medical conditions, trauma, injuries, and emergencies.
- Perform or assist in medical procedures, interventions, and resuscitations as required.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and responses.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with emergency physicians, nurses, and other staff to provide seamless and coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and post-emergency care.
- Provide counseling on preventive measures and follow-up care.
- Emergency Room/Urgent Care experience preferred.
- Proficiency in emergency procedures and trauma care.
