Mercyhealth is seeking Primary Outpatient Care Physicians to join our expanding practice In Janesville and Lake Geneva Wisconsin Close to Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago

Mercyhealth is an award-winning, multi-regional, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, more than 700 employed physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery and much more.

Opportunity:

  • Join an expanding Multi-Specialty Outpatient Practice.
  • Walk into a full panel of patients with the support of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Multiple Clinic locations/options.
  • We promote and support a private-practice model. Craft your practice
  • Call is minimal and shared among Mercyhealth region Internal Medicine Physicians.
  • Because we provide a robust Hospitalist program, hospital rounding is not required.
  • No restrictions on procedures - build the practice to your specifications.
  • Admitting hospital is Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville WI or Mercyhealth Walworth Hospital, Lake Geneva WI.

Full Time Compensation & Benefits:

Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (based on MGMA guidelines) leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:

  • Paid CME, malpractice and licensure

  • 100% match on 4% retirement plan contribution + additional discretionary 2%, up to 6% Day one
  • Short -Term & Long-Term Disability insurance
  • Four weeks paid parental leave and one-week paid caregiver leave
  • 20 days of PTO + 5 days for CME during initial guarantee for a full-time Physician

Community:

Lake Geneva WI is in Walworth County (population 106,000), southern Wisconsin, and has easy access to Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. This area is known for its safe and family-oriented community offering a great amount of recreational options. Lake Geneva is a thriving historical resort community with a population of 8700 residents, made up of grand estates, PGA Golf Courses and vintage yachts, which can all be seen while strolling along the lakefront promenade around one of the deepest, cleanest spring-fed lakes in the Midwest.

Janesville WI is a city of about 66,000 people with 150,000 people in Rock County. Janesville has all the advantages and amenities of a smaller city while still having easy access to four larger cities (Madison, Milwaukee, Rockford, Chicago). The cost of living in Rock County is low and housing is affordable. The school system is very good with both public and private schools available.
