Overview:


We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security solutions for a telecom client. This role involves securing network and cloud infrastructures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading threat management efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement secure network architectures and enforce security standards.
  • Implement advanced threat detection and prevention mechanisms.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with telecom regulations (e.g., FCC, CPNI) and maintain security policies.
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, managing tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
  • Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure).


Required Qualifications:


  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, including 3-5 years in a senior role.
  • Telecom industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH; cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
