The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient-centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient.
