We are uniquely positioned to partner with our clients wherever they are on their ESG journey.We are recruiting Sustainability & Energy Analysts or Consultants to join our fast-growing business in Southern Europe and provide technical support in the areas of strategy, data management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. This role will be in Madrid, reporting into our Southern Europe office in Milan.ResponsibilitiesUndertaking a range of environmental assessments using third-party assessment methodologies such as BREEAM, DGNB or equivalent, BREEAM In-Use (both international and US schemes), LEED, SKA and WELLLiaising with client stakeholders to develop the criteria for the delivery of the desired environmental assessment ratingConducting BREEAM Pre-Assessment and providing design adviceProducing evidence requirements for BREEAM creditsAttending site visits to review progress against sustainability targetsCollecting, verifying, and managing granular building utility consumption data to help clients meet reporting requirements and drive improvements in ESG performanceSupporting the development of ESG strategy services to clients using our internal methodology to create bespoke programsProducing reports and providing advice and guidance to clients and project teamsProducing due diligence reports and energy audits that provide asset-level evaluations and advice on building optimizationCompleting relevant training to become certified as an assessor against one or more of the core assessment methodologiesAssisting with ESG policy and strategy assignments for our clientsAssisting the Business Development team with pitches and tendersAt a senior level, you may also be responsible for:Analyze energy consumption data, identify trends, benchmark, and correlation to degree daysSupport on developing road maps at asset levelConduct energy audits leading to the identification of energy conservation measures (ECM) and deep-retrofit energy interventions and structuring a financial investment business casePreparing and presenting Energy and Sustainability strategies to clientsConduct waste, water, and sustainability audits, and support the team for ESG assessmentsWork as an active team member to deliver ambitious projects such as global Net Positive or Science Based Targets implementation roadmapsAbility to undertake research and evaluation of new technologies, policies, and services in the energy sectorManage analysts delivering Building Optimisation projects in the UK and EuropeCreation of thought leadership pieces for communication, to enhance client offerings, and ensure the team remain at the forefront of emerging thinkingFlexibility, including the ability to travel throughout the UK and internationallyDynamic simulation modelling with IES-VE softwareRequired experienceThe ability to manage multiple on-going assignments simultaneouslyKnowledge of various ESG topics relevant to the real estate investment sector at the European and global levelExcellent numerical ability, and thorough experience of data analysisAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiativeAbility to produce structured, concise, and meaningful reports, summarising results and justifying conclusions, containing very technical informationExcellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of ExcelQualified as LEED, WELL or BREEAM AP (desirable but not essential)Fluency in English and SpanishDesirable experienceMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience1-4 years in the energy efficiency sector, energy auditing, energy performance contracting, building optimisation, low carbon building designAnalytical skills to developing a consistent and scalable approach to ESG data collection, validation, and reportingAbility to speak fluently and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentationsProven project management experience and excellent communication skillsPassionate about tackling climate change and about the wider sustainability agendaBeing able to challenge, provide insights, forecast future trends, and articulate the value of sustainability to businesses, with an understanding of future value creation #J-18808-Ljbffr
