Plumbing candidates must be members of the local 55 union and have at least 6+ years' experience in the commercial/ Healthcare plumbing industry.The main services are plumbing and medical gas piping. Because these systems are installed inside walls, beneath floors and above ceilings, exacting building standards and installation techniques aren't merely needed, they're demanded.The Journeyman Plumbers daily work at job sites includes: Coordination, installation, and maintenance for equipment of plumbing systems in commercial and medical settings. Communicate with all jobsite personnel, including subcontractors. Able to follow orders or lead and delegate. Able to read and interpret blueprints, communicate with all jobsite personnelAble to follow directions or lead and delegate. Requirements Experience:At least 6 years of commercial/healthcare plumbing experience Prior shop experience a plus Stable work history Job Skills: Ability to read blueprints. Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation Working knowledge of all hand and power tools Able to do basic take-offs. Able to install equipment. Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity Physical Requirements: Eyesight correctable to 20/50 Able to work long hours on foot. Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds. Able to perform shift work must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must not be afraid of heights. Special Requirements: Journeyman's License Salary Description $41.11/hr
