DENTIST, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY – CALIFORNIA HEALTH CARE FACILITY Position located at California Health Care Facility (CHCF) in Stockton, CA, San Joaquin County. Job Description and Duties Under the clinical and administrative direction of the Supervising Dentist, the Dentist is responsible for the delivery of dental care, including preventive care, to patients at the State correctional facility. Provide comprehensive dental services and maintain quality of patient care. Participate in performance management activities to continuously improve the Incarcerated Dental Services Program. Delegate appropriate responsibilities to assisting staff and supervise the conduct of incarcerated patients. Maintain order and supervise the conduct of incarcerated individuals and protect safety of persons and property. Minimum Qualifications Legal requirements for the practice of dentistry in California met (Board of Dental Examiners). Graduation from an approved dental school. Pass the California Board of Dental Examiners examination for Dental Practitioner.
