Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
  • Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Be a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
Key Skills and Qualities:
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-related care to residents.
  • Show patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Relate information concerning a resident's condition.

Job Details:
  • Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
