*Responsibilities:*

Provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient charts. Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and assists in developing procedures as requested.

*Qualifications:*
* *Licensure*: Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure required.
* *Certification*: CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
* *Experience*: Willing to train new graduates; would prefer experience in critical care or ER.
* *Education*: Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved school for respiratory therapy granting eligibility to take exams given by the National Board for Respiratory Care or Registered/Certified by the N.B.R.C.

*Shifts Available: *
* Night Shift, Full-Time, 6:30 pm - 7:00 am; every other weekend & rotating holiday schedule

*Pay:*$31.35 - $47.03/hour based on experience

*Sign-on Bonus: *$15,000
