As we continue to grow into new markets, we’re looking for skilled professionals who are ready to lead and make an impact.Position Overview:We’re hiring a Journeyman HVAC Installer to oversee and execute the installation of residential heating and cooling systems throughout Connecticut. This role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and a valid S-1 or S-2 license. You’ll be responsible for ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and up to code, all while delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Lead residential HVAC system installations from start to finish, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and moreInterpret blueprints, specifications, and job requirementsSupervise and mentor installation apprentices or helpers on job sitesEnsure compliance with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulationsCoordinate with office and warehouse teams for equipment, materials, and schedulingMaintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress with homeowners and supervisorsRepresent Yost & Campbell with professionalism and a customer-first mindsetRequirements:Valid S-1 or S-2 license (Connecticut HVAC License)EPA 608 Universal Certification5+ years of HVAC installation experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead roleStrong knowledge of residential systems, including ducted and ductless technologiesAbility to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and schematicsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skillsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs, work in crawlspaces, attics, and on laddersPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with high-efficiency, ductless, and zone systemsWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience - starting at $25+/HRWeekly payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with 4% company matchCompany vehicle and gas cardPaid training and licensing supportOpportunities for advancement in a growing, supportive team environmentReady to Lead With Us?If you’re a licensed HVAC professional looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to talk.
