Plumbing Supervisor needed for a team of residential service plumbers. This is a working supervisor position with time split between field days and supervisor days. Our team of plumbers work in a two-person team with a helper or apprentice to assist the lead plumber. This position reports to the Director of Plumbing Operations and is instrumental in creating an exceptional experience for our customers and team members. If you love being a plumber and want to help lead and mentor the next generation of plumbers, this is the position for you. We are looking for someone that would be available to report to our north Plainfield shop one or two days a week. DRF is a certified Great Place to Work.
DRF specializes in water heater installation, toilets, sink re-connects, sump pumps, ejector pumps and other service work. Our lead plumbers help train and mentor our apprentices on-the-job. We offer above-scale pay, clean plumbing / finish work, consistent year-round work, and a full benefit package. We offer paid vacation time, paid leave and paid holidays.
The supervisor will lead the team, answer plumbing questions, create work schedules and approve timecards. DRF offers continuing education for the plumbing team and test prep education for our apprentices. Chicago or Illinois Plumbing License preferred.
