Senior Software Engineer (Front End) – JPS Tech Solutions Location: Seattle, WA | Job Type: Remote | Compensation: Depends on Experience | Job Category: Engineer W2: W2-Contract Only; C2C not considered. Job Description Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to the development environment, and technical documentation. Work independently to support software throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Diagnose and resolve performance issues. Participate in the estimation process, use case specifications, and reviews of test plans, test cases, requirements, and project planning. Introduce tools and automate repetitive processes. Guide and mentor junior developers in coding and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews. Qualifications & Experience Exceptional technical skills, keen eye for design, and excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously in a fast‑paced agile environment. 8+ years of engineering experience. 5+ years of experience with Angular / AngularJS. 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code. Solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework (2+ years of experience). 5+ years of experience with RESTful services. Familiarity with testing frameworks (basic experience, e.g., Cypress). Hands‑on experience implementing complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Effective time‑management abilities. Capacity to work in a distributed team environment.
