Join us and let’s build the future.Job DescriptionResponsible for developing Network Solutions enabling Data Orchestration and Management (DOM) from Belden’s extensive portfolio of switching, routing, network management and cybersecurity products. Reference work done by Belden’s Solution Sales Managers and Digital Automation Consultants, as well as data obtained in Network Assessments to define Customer Challenges and IT / OT Network Requirements. Lead the solution design specification (SDS) process with the client; with the SDS serving as a blueprint for Proof of Concept demonstration of the Solution and Belden’s Capabilities conducted at customer sites, or within one of Belden’s Customer Innovation Center Validation Labs (CIC). Successful PoC’s demonstrate operational or financial impact to client business, and secure commitment to deploy the solution to improve stated customer challenges. Upon customer acceptance of design and value of the solution, advise Commercial Operations and PMO Teams on their Scope and Design, and successful handoff to Belden’s execution functions. Serve as a technical partner to other business functions, providing insights on Customer Trends, Product or Capability Gaps, and Successful Customer Outcomes. Rely on technical competencies first and utilize vertical specific experience to acknowledge and solve vertical specific challenges. Through rich experience developing and implementing Networking Solutions supporting Data Orchestration and Management, accelerate the credibility of Belden as a solution provider for Networking & Data Solutions applications. Facilitate collaboration, teamwork, and communication, acting as the pivot point among the internal and external participants of a project opportunity.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.Five (5) years of progressive experience in designing, consulting, and creating industrial networking solutions in the PT&D or Mass Transit industry.Industrial Ethernet, IP, MPLS-TP, and industrial protocols.Industrial networking, including industrial firewalls, NMS network management systems, and industrial wireless solutions.Proven track record within a Network Architecture or Development role in PT&D or Mass Transit.Working with cross functional teams, including Solution Architects, Solution Line Management, Product Development, Automation Consultants, Sales, Marketing or ProductDevelopment.Translating complex, technical information into comprehensible conversation with non-technical audience.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and competitors’ solutions.Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to work within a metric driven and fast paced work environment through pro-active, flexible, and pragmatic approach.May work from home office 100% of time.Must travel domestically within the U.S. approximately 50% of time.Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.Employer: Belden Inc., 1 North Brentwood Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105Apply online at https://careers.belden.com/Let’s Write the Next 100 Years Together.Join a global community striving to improve connectivity and security.
