Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People • Customers • Trust Maintenance Technician ResponsibilitiesThis position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Fairfield, OH.This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft, and training is provided to develop these skills. Basic Qualifications2+ Years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.Be Authorized to work in the US.Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.Must be able to work 3rd shift- 11:00pm-7:00am Sunday-ThursdayWhat You Bring:Safety Mindset: Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.Team Mentality:Time Management: Reliable, on-time attendance record; Ability to efficiently reach productivity goals.Adaptability: Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures; Ability to work overtime when required; Eagerness to learn processes and procedures in multiple areas.Collaborative: Promote a culture of teamwork where we help each other to learn and meet shared goals.Thoroughness: The ability to properly perform quality checks; Focus on accuracy to provide our customers with the best possible experience; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; perform a variety of clerical functions as needed and understand basic math; ability to read/write and interpret documents in English.Experience: Demonstrated longevity of at least 2 years of Maintenance experience in previous employment. Preference given to candidates with previous experience.Agility: Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively and consistently, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.Paid Holidays.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
