You’ll build technical expertise, maintain client relationships, and contribute to projects that positively impact communities.We’re looking for candidates who:Have strong attention to detail and reliability.Bring a positive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.Are eager to learn and grow beyond their comfort zone.This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy meaningful, hands-on work and want to make a measurable impact on environmental health.What You’ll DoConduct Field Assessments: Perform sample collection at indoor and outdoor client facilities, accurately record observations using inspection forms, and communicate findings effectively to Project Managers.Perform Specialized Testing: Carry out a variety of assessments, including hazardous materials surveys (mold, lead, asbestos), noise surveys, exposure monitoring, wildfire smoke assessments, site surveillance, and respirator fit testing.Manage Samples: Prepare and deliver collected samples to laboratories following proper protocols.Operate Equipment Safely: Ensure correct use of tools and equipment for accurate data collection, including moisture meters, area pumps, anemometers, and other specialized instruments.Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver projects on schedule, maintaining professional, friendly communication and adhering to all safety and protective standards.Participate in Training: Attend company-required trainings and courses to maintain certifications, technical skills, and safety compliance.What You BringActive DOSH Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification.2+ years of experience conducting asbestos surveys and providing abatement oversight.Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate data entry and client interaction.High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field is preferred.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to local client sites; occasional travel outside the local area may be required.Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work nights or weekends based on project needs.Why Join UsImpact: Your work directly contributes to safer, healthier environments for our clients and communities.Culture: We value collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning, creating a supportive and professional environment.Opportunity: Contribute to meaningful projects that make a real difference.Growth: Access training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career within the company.Physical & Work Requirements:Physical ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, walk, and stand for extended periods in varied work environments to perform sampling activities.Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for documentation and reporting.Must be able to pass a background check, annual physicals, and OSHA-required respirator fit tests.Compensation and RewardsCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonus structure tied to individual and team achievements.Comprehensive benefits package, including:401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributionsMedical coverage with company-paid premiums for employees and dependentsVision and dental plan optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent care)Company-sponsored programs including Employee Assistance Program, life and disability insurance, Rocket Lawyer legal services, and mobile phone plan with VerizonVoluntary benefits options including supplemental life insurance for employees and dependents, short-term disability, hospital, accident, and pet insuranceGenerous PTO (3 weeks accrual), paid holidays, volunteer days, and floating holidayTuition Reimbursement Program to promote higher educationPaid training and certifications to support career advancementIncentive Bonus Plan and Donation Matching ProgramWage Transparency:Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.Equal Opportunity Employer:Forensic Analytical Consulting Services is an equal-opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.
