Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Location: Metro Dallas Area

Job Summary: A leading healthcare facility in the Dallas area seeks passionate and skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join its dedicated team in providing exceptional care to neonates and their families. This role offers a competitive salary, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance for candidates relocating from 100+ miles outside Dallas.

Position Details:

  • Shift Structure: 12- and 24-hour shifts
  • Patient Load: 8-10 patients per day shift and 20-30 patients per night shift
  • Responsibilities: Attend high-risk deliveries, manage inpatient rounds, and perform various neonatal procedures
  • Team Support: Night shift covers unit with support from 3-4 NNPs, resident, fellow, and neonatologist
  • Scheduling: 72 weekend hours required in a 6-week period (includes Friday nights through 7:00 am Monday)
  • Setting: Inpatient care in a facility designated as Trauma Level I
  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Requirements:

  • Education: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensed in Texas, with authorization to practice in Family, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Women's Health
  • Certification: Active BLS and NRP certifications, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience: Open to newly graduated NNPs with 4+ years of NICU experience
  • Other Requirements: Candidates must live within 1.5 hours of the facility; relocation assistance available if needed

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive and based on experience, with opportunity to submit salary expectations
    • Minimum: $48.70/hr
    • Midpoint: $65.72/hr
    • Maximum: $82.79/hr
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Relocation Assistance: Available for candidates relocating over 100 miles

Candidate Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible NNP (or equivalent as specified)
  • Active Texas APRN license
  • Clean malpractice and licensing history
  • COVID-19 vaccinated (or verbal confirmation)
  • Not open to Locums, 1099, or candidates with lapsed Board Certification needing recertification
