LayerZero Power Systems is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal customer base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers.   Position Description: Director of Sales Operations & Application EngineeringReporting to the Director of Sales, this role combines responsibility for Application Engineering and Sales Operations. The Director manages Application Engineers, a Data Analyst, and Customer Sales Support staff to deliver sales process excellence. This is a management role focused on executing strategies defined by senior leadership, with a strong emphasis on operational delivery, sales operations toolkit mastery, and AI-enabled process improvement.Primary Duties:Bid and Proposal Management: Lead the team to deliver competitive, timely proposals.Pricing Governance: Ensure compliance with pricing strategy, manage DOA approvals, and track profitability KPIs.CRM & CPQ Implementation: Drive the business case, specification, and design of a new CRM and CPQ system; oversee implementation and optimization.Process & KPI Management: Execute pipeline management, account planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.Customer Feedback to Product Management: Provide structured customer input to inform product strategy.Experience & Skills: Experience: 10+ years in sales operations and/or sales or account managementMission Critical Power experience preferred.Leadership Experience: 5+ years managing multi-functional teams.Sales Ops Toolkit Mastery: CRM, CPQ, analytics, KPI tracking, pricing governance, and process optimization.Execution-Focused Management: Strong operational delivery skills aligned to leadership-defined strategies.Customer Focus: Ability to maintain and grow customer relationships.Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and drive process improvements.
