Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation Location: Riverside, CA (Hybrid / Remote / In-Office) Job Type: Full-time Job Description Our client is a well-respected, boutique civil litigation firm based in Riverside, serving the Inland Empire and greater Southern California. The firm specializes in business and commercial litigation, construction law, real estate disputes, insurance defense, professional liability, and trial work. Their attorneys combine big-firm experience with high responsiveness, providing practical, business‑minded litigation and counseling to clients. Role Description Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to support the firm's civil litigation department. In this role, you will: Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Prepare correspondence, contracts, and transactional documents Participate in client meetings and case strategy discussions Support senior attorneys in investigations and fact development Manage case files, coordinate with experts, and assist with trial preparation Appear in court / attend hearings when needed (subject to experience) The position offers flexibility - you may work remotely, in the Riverside office, or in a hybrid model. Practice Areas / Focus Business & Commercial Litigation Construction Law, including contract review, lien litigation, and bond claims Real Estate Litigation and Disputes Professional Liability / Legal Malpractice Defense Insurance Defense Litigation Trial work, including jury and non‑jury trials Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Admission to the California Bar (or commitment to become admitted) 2‑10 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated interest or experience in one or more of the firm's core practice areas Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Legal Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
