Overview A highly stable, leading family-owned parking and real estate operator in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (DMV), managing over 350 facilities, is expanding its legal team. They are seeking a dynamic second In-House Counsel to be a core contributor in our lean, transaction-focused legal department. This role is on-site in D.C. Your Role: Transactional Counsel You will be the lead attorney for the company's daily commercial transactions, operating autonomously under the General Counsel. This is a client-facing, non-litigation focused position where you will serve as a trusted, business-minded partner to executive leadership and operations. Legal Recruiting| Permanent Placement & Staffing| Randstad- global leader in the HR services industry Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Compensation Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 Incentive Bonus: Eligible for an annual 10% performance bonus. Core Responsibilities Contract Management: Independently handle the entire lifecycle (drafting, reviewing, and negotiating) of a wide variety of high-volume contracts, including Management Agreements, Leases, Vendor Contracts (MSAs), RFPs, and NDAs. Business Strategy: Provide practical, solutions-oriented legal analysis to business units to enable growth and minimize risk. Compliance & Risk: Monitor regulatory developments, enforce corporate policies, and manage outside counsel for disputes and litigation as needed. Corporate Duties: Support the General Counsel on corporate governance and intellectual property matters. Qualifications License: Active License to Practice Law in Washington, D.C. (REQUIRED). Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in transactional law (heavy commercial contract drafting/negotiation). Preferred: Experience in Real Estate, Commercial Leasing, Property Management, or the Parking industry is a strong advantage. Work Arrangement: 5 days/week on-site at our D.C. headquarters (downtown DC area).
