Nova Biomedical is hiring a Tubing Assembler II on the First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) in our Waltham, MA facility. This person is responsible for the processing of the various tubing assemblies for both core and OEM analyzers. Under general supervision, this person will perform routine and complex assembly operations as well as produce prototypes/pilots for engineering as required. Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Required to manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Other responsibilities include: Ability to work with various adhesives and alcohols during assembly. Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields. Must have the ability operate process equipment such as automatic crimp cappers, laser coders, leak testers, automatic tube cutter, crimping devices, heat fixtures/tools and UV adhesive dispensing/curing systems. Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation to assemble various product. Willingness to train junior assemblers.Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Good math and communication skills Physical Requirements: Pushing or pulling up to 5-6 lbs. Repetitive task performance: repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Strong visual acuity Skills and Competencies: Basic knowledge of GMP Tubing Assembler I qualificationsEducation/Experience: High School/Trade School diploma 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing (Tubing) assembliesAt Nova Biomedical, we practice our core values of mutual respect, honesty, and integrity throughout the company.
