Responsibilities:
- Primary focus is to drive process improvement in Manufacturing Processing and Packaging systems
- Deploy strategies to maximize manufacturing performance on targeted systems
- Leads efforts to drive targeted cost savings projects (i.e. material optimization or waste reduction)
- Creates and improves manufacturing instructions and standards to increase sustainability and reduce variation
- Leverage advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses
- Provides technical support to solve problems, drive improvements in production systems and implement standards to ensure sustainment
- Serves as a technical resource in the assigned technologies and platforms
- Responsible to conduct yourself and those you lead in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct
Qualifications:
- Years of Experience: 2+ years,
- Education: Bachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience in Food Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Experience with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Leadership of structured problem-solving approaches such as Lean, Six-Sigma, or TPM.
- Development and use of statistical models and data analytics
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required
