**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** GI/Endoscopy

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** 8-Hour Days, Monday through Friday, plus required overnight and weekend call

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Required to submit

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS

**Must-Have:**
- At least 1 year of experience in Endoscopy
- Experience with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
- Completion of procedure sedation class
- Completion of modules prior to the assignment
- Completion of the Dysphagia (DYS) Exam (Basic) with a pass within 24-48 hours prior to acceptance

**Job Description:**
- Manage endoscopy procedures including polypectomy, foreign body retrieval, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and EGD with dilation
- Provide care for patients undergoing procedures such as Barrett's esophagus treatment
- Work in a facility with 3 procedure rooms, 8 pre-op beds, and 4 post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) beds
- Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records
- Collaborate with a charge nurse and endoscopy techs for room turnovers
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including one weekend per month (Friday evening to Monday morning) and one holiday during the contract duration
- Float as needed to an outpatient surgery center or pre/post-surgical inpatient area
- Attend floor-specific orientation for 2 days with a preceptor
- Wear provided scrub color during shifts
- Access to 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services

Please note: Successful completion of all modules and exams is necessary to begin work.
