**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 18 months required

**License:** Must have IN or compact license. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the IN/compact licensing process.

**Certifications:** BCLS, NIH required. ACLS preferred.

**Must-Have:**
- Med/Surg experience
- Pre/post neuro surgery
- Total joint replacements
- Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV experience
- IV Start experience required
- Ortho trauma and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred

**Job Description:**

- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Shift requirements are 3x12 or 4x12 nights, with every other weekend.
- Candidates will work to balance preference and unit needs.
- Floating is required and candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals.
- Staffing ratios are 1:5-6.
- Unit information includes handling orthopedic, GYN, urology, neurosurgery, and medical patients.
- Procedures and conditions include total joint replacements, continuous bladder irrigation, hysterectomy, chest tubes, neurosurgery, ENT surgery, bone fractures, and a range of medical diagnoses (e.g., COPD, pneumonia, UTI, cellulitis, COVID, small bowel obstruction).
- Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours.
- Local rules apply to travel positions and requirements for residency location.
