**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac ICU

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 18:45 - 07:15, every other weekend required

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 2+ years of ICU experience

**License:** Kentucky RN License

**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in Cardiac ICU
- Experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump

**Job Description:**
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to medical and cardiac ICU patients.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as SWAN, IMPELLA, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), ARTIC SUN, ZOLL IVTM, EKOS, CADD, IV PLUM Pumps, Peritoneal dialysis, and Prismax.
- Work collaboratively within a team, being adaptable and willing to support other nurses as needed.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 2:1, with rare instances of 3:1 for short periods.
- Navigate and document patient care within the Cerner system.
- Demonstrate a humble and energetic attitude, serving as a resource to less experienced nurses.

**Additional Information:**
- Staff are required to wear galaxy blue tops and bottoms or jackets; black scrub bottoms are an alternative.
- Engage with mandatory Knowledge Hub Modules during the orientation week.
- Nurses must be prepared to work either Christmas or New Year’s shifts.
