**Must-Have:** BSN required, ICU Level RN experience, willing to float to MedSurg/Tele. Travelers must live over 100 miles away from any facility.

**Description:**
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Float Pool position. The role involves floating throughout various units, ensuring that you stay within or below your scope of practice, including MedSurg. The Float Pool position involves working in different units such as ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Oncology, and Heart and Vascular.

As an ICU RN, you will handle complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. Preferred but not required experience includes cardiac procedures such as CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hours post-op.

In the IMC/Tele/MedSurg units, you'll manage common diagnoses such as orthopedics, neuro cases, surgical cases, and medical issues like pneumonia and sepsis. An ICU RN in this position should be adept with IV medications, ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and be skilled in procedures like IV starts, blood product administration, and post-cardiac procedurals.

Patient ratios typically include 1:1-3 in ICU, and 1:4-5 in IMC/Tele/MedSurg.

Support includes CNA presence, dedicated charge nurses, 24/7 phlebotomy and RT services, and hospitalists on-site.

The role requires experience with the Epic charting system, and familiarity with Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps. The schedule involves every other weekend rotation and holiday expectations, with a potential orientation of 2 days at the facility and 3 shifts on the unit.
