Job Summary and QualificationsThe RN Charge Rapid Response provides critical care expertise to all adult patients experiencing unexpected life threating conditions or rapid deterioration using a consultative and supportive approach. Facilitates care until patient is stable or transferred to a higher level of care while the primary nurse retains responsibility. Provides formal and informal education and training to nursing staff as a subject matter expert, mentoring nurses throughout the hospital. Performs delegated medical functions within the nurse practice act, policies, procedures and protocols. Initiates emergency protocols independently following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
- Bachelor's degree - Strongly preferred
License/Certifications:
- Current license to practice, as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada - Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - Required
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- CC RN Certification - Preferred
Experience:
- Two (2) years critical care experience - Required
