Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical 11 West

Shift : Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Weekdays and Some Weekends
Length : 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
  • BCLS and IV certifications
  • Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience is desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse (11W DOAN)

Schedule: Weekdays and Some Weekends, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30)

Shift Type: Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform IV starts and manage IV lines proficiently.

• Administer medications safely and accurately.

• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatment.

• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and self-care techniques.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC EMR system.

• Maintain BCLS and IV certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float to lower acuity units as needed.

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

• BCLS and IV certifications are mandatory.

• Proficiency in IV management, medication administration, and patient education.

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.

• Previous travel nursing experience is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
