Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: 1 year of Urgent Care experience (preferred)
License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
Must-Have:
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to emergency room specialty
- Ability to perform float requirements within a 60-mile radius if needed
Job Description:

- Deliver care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
- Delegate to non-RN personnel according to state board and hospital policy.

- Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research activities.
- Seek continuous learning opportunities to maintain clinical practice competence.
