**Job Title:** Technologist

**Shift:** Evenings, 12 hours

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting

**License:** New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NH MIRT required; temporary license available)

**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT

**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
- Experience with all age groups
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Own vehicle required due to lack of public transport

**Job Description:**

- Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of the body requested by the physician.
- Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
- Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Operate film processing equipment.
- Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at the patient's bedside.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to the patient and staff.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Adhere to dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs; closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or clogs; hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings.
- Work one of either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified in advance. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
- Must complete de-escalation training as part of onboarding and clearance from specified groups (CPI, AVADE, or MOAB).

**Please Note:** Local travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered. Conversely, flexibility in the ongoing schedule is not available, so adherence to the posted schedule is crucial.
