**Job Description:**
- Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Work flexible hours, alternate shifts, weekends, and on-call as necessary to provide quality patient care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
- Apply principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk.
- Select and operate MRI systems and associated equipment.
- Position patients and equipment to demonstrate the anatomic area of interest while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform venipuncture, start, and maintain venous access.
- Prepare and administer contrast media; verify consent/screening forms.
- Assist physicians with interventional procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
- Evaluate images/data for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is evident.
- Use radiology information systems, complete records and reports, and submit images for review.
- Initiate basic life support actions when necessary.
- Provide practical instruction to partners and students.
- Participate in projects and committees as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Holiday coverage is required.
