**Must-Have:** CT/X-ray experience
**Job Description:**
- Perform diagnostic radiographic services.
- Operate imaging equipment and other devices as appropriate.
- Position and immobilize patients as necessary.
- Calculate exposure factors and practice radiation protection.
- Evaluate radiographs for technical quality.
- Provide care for the physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations and procedures, ranging from newborn to geriatrics.
- Practice aseptic techniques as necessary.
- Assist physicians with the administration of contrast media and be familiar with potential reactions and appropriate responses.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of an emergency and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Initiate life support measures for patients if necessary.
- Maintain IV skills on weekdays.
- Contribute to patient records and assume responsibility for assigned areas.
- Provide input for equipment and supply purchase decisions.
- Instruct specific units of didactic and/or clinical education in the radiography program, if applicable.
- Assume acting supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor if requested.
- Contribute to quality assurance programs and pursue ongoing continuing education.
- Control inventory and purchase supplies for assigned areas.
- Regularly assist in the clinical experience of student technologists.
- Perform duties requiring interaction with patients of various age groups, social and economic backgrounds.
- Fulfill the mission and abide by the values of the organization.
- Perform any other duties as needed to drive the vision and mission.
