Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Specialty: Imaging (IMAG)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts, Day shift (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience:
- Bachelor's of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology or
- Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology with at least 2 years of experience
License: Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
Certifications:
- Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM))
- Advanced certifications in at least one of the following areas: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR)
- NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR

Must-Have:
- Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging, preferably in SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion Imaging
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, and imaging processes
- Familiarity with Nuclear Medicine Information System (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Adherence to safety standards and regulations in the Radiology Department

Job Description:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures following department protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to any adverse reactions during imaging
- Maintain equipment safety and report malfunctions promptly
- Conduct related clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments and record-keeping
- Ensure patient care conferences are attended and patient information is kept confidential
- Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures in the hospital setting
- Uphold hospital values and mission in decision-making and patient care
- Other duties as required to support the imaging department and patient care efforts.
