Job Details:

  • Coverage: Ongoing

  • Position Open: 1

  • Setting: Hospital – 496 Bed Medical Center – 20 OR’s – 5 Outpatient Surgery Center Rooms

  • Daily Responsibilities: Pediatric patients – all cases but will NOT be doing any Pediatric Open Heart, EP, or Cath Lab. May ask provider to see some adults as well.

  • Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Monday - Friday, 40 hours weekly with mix of available shifts (8, 10, 12, 24), client prefers candidates with flexibility to work varying shifts, schedule made one month in advance; no call or weekends

  • Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call but if interested, they may discuss

  • PPD/Census: Depends on shift and area designated

  • Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Other Physicians and CRNA’s No supervision required

  • EMR: EPIC (Health Connect)

  • Credentialing Time frame –Timeline is 12 weeks from the time application is submitted as target start but could start sooner depending on how quickly credentialing is completed.

  • Will a licensing candidate be considered: No

  • Housing/Travel Accommodations: Prefer local candidates

Requirements:

  • Active Unrestricted CA License

  • Board Certified

  • Pediatric Fellowship or Peds board certification Required

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience

  • Active Certification Required: BLS, ATLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA

  • Preferred Availability at time of name clear – Required

  • Vaccination Requirement: Required

  • Clean Malpractice

  • Clean Background
