**Job Description:**
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and accurately record prescribed medications.
- Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and provide discharge planning.
- Record patient medical information and vital signs accurately and promptly.
- Monitor, adjust, and interpret specialized equipment and electronic displays used on patients.
- Initiate corrective actions when patients exhibit adverse symptomatology.
- Provide bedside care for a range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
- Initiate patient education plans prescribed by physicians, explaining post-treatment home care needs.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
- Utilize strong time management skills to provide efficient patient care.
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner and in the appropriate format.
- Perform other related duties as assigned based on assignment settings.
